(the year which ECOBIOS Italia
established in compliance with the law 319 of 10/05/76 - Merli Law

these are the words that have led us
in the continuous research and development of new
technologies capable of defeating
pollution. In Texas in 1982,
Prof. Roberto A. Blundo, ("Fulbright"
scholar and
qualified waters' expert appointed by the
leading Minister of Ecology - A. BIONDI - and currently director of ECOBIOS Italia),
together with Prof. Carl H. OPPENHEIMER (Director of Marine Science
Institute of University of Texas) founded
ECOBIOS Inc. in agreement with the USA
based E.P.A. (Environmental Protection Agency).
By the joint venture of these two companies, the technology named
"BIOCATALYSIS®"
was developed, one of the most advanced and innovative natural
biotechnologies for waste water treatment plants, as well as for
in situ
bioremediation of soils, and for the bio-filtration of air.
Considering the simplicity and efficiency of this synergic process and the
low running costs, it was necessary to protect it by patenting it to the
European Economic Community (EEC), and, for the plant engineering part, it has
been thought to extend the patent at an international level through a P.C.T
(Patent Cooperation Treaty).
Thanks to the stength of its offer, ECOBIOS
has established itself not only in the national field but also in
Europe and overseas by exporting products
