(…) < I have never seen anything like that >,  this is the astonished comment of professor Roberto Blundo, marine microbiologist from CAPRI, arrived at Shetland to take some samples of the ground contaminated by hydrocarbons. <It is incredible how oil has already been bioremediated, that is to be transformed in TRIGLYCERID, a non toxic product. Evidently marine bacteria, carbon molecule eaters, of which crude oil is constituted, have carried out the task assigned by nature by means of natural nutrients integration (of N and P) previously strewn on the ground.>

(…) Among all the wonders microrganisms promise, there is one deserving more attention: bacteria are going to be the winning weapon against the worst nightmare of the next millennium, pollution. (…)
(…) They are natural microrganisms
, belonging to the  Pseudomonas, that at their natural status are able to
quickly attack hydrocarbons (oil) transforming them into fatty acids completely soluble and NUTRITIVE (…)
(…) <Against oil>, professor Blundo affirms, < only bacteria
Naturally work. Each strain attacks its hydrocarbon, be it light or heavy >. In the laboratory a fistful of bacteria  is able to purify 20 liters of water in a couple of hours; in the Sea 2 quintals of microrganisms are the required quantity to clear a hectare of surface. (…)
(…) "Eating-oil" bacteria cocktail
(CONSORTIUM) is working in the Gulf of Mexico on the occasion of the tanker Mega Borg accident.  Excellent results, so that the prudent EPA authorized their usage in Texas, place of intense oil traffic (…)

(…) Professor Robert Blundo, with Paolo Bonolis at "I cervelloni" show, exposed his natural method to remediate oil in case of "oil-spill" by the means of bacteria, natural elements which do not provoke any pollution, quite the opposite (…)
(…)
In 1990, thanks to this biotechnology, sea waters overlooking HOUSTON (Galveston NATO-BASE) after the Norwegian tanker Mega Borg disaster, have been cleaned up, in less than three days(…)
(…) <In Anagni (FR)> professor Blundo  affirms < we treat communal waste water plants,
what are commonly called sewers. By our method water becomes so pure to allow us the luxury of rearing trouts. On the contrary, when waters are treated with a chemical solvent,  fish come afloat already dead (…)
